How do we treat real hunger and poverty? |
Warehouse of Hope began in January 1995 with a dream from Founders Craig and Becky Parson to meet the needs of families in the community who were unable to fulfill the most basic necessities of survival. At that time the effort was to acquire and deliver groceries and supplies to a few needy families. The organization soon found itself benefiting from the network of referral sources such as D.F.A.C.S., local shelters and support efforts and positive word of mouth. As the number of families requiring assistance grew and the needs expanded, resources to fill the needs became scarce. Now, through an extensive effort and effective cooperation, the Warehouse of Hope benefits from partnerships with Organizations such as Feed the Children and Operation Blessing to acquire much needed food and supplies. Through time, effectively meeting needs and building relationships, the Warehouse of Hope has experienced tremendous growth. We currently distribute on average 6000 grocery bags full of food and supplies per month. Additionally we are currently assisting roughly 350 families monthly with the ability to meet their needs for clothing through our clothing distribution office. All of this is made possible with the provision of God, the help of our Ministry Partners and our supporters. |

What do we require to take advantage of our services? |
First time visitors must complete a short orientation that describes our services, how the process works and why we are motivated to provide our services. Please click on the calendar link to the left to review the orientation times. We will also need to gather some basic household information about your self and your family during the orientation process. Please be prepared to provide verifiable information to the ministry when requesting assistance. We will always have an open door policy to those who need assistance.
